Joshua David Hester is a UK-based Poet, Designer, and Publishing Practitioner. His work moves through research for self-knowledge, spoken word performances, and handcrafted editions, exploring the book as both vessel and voice.

At the heart of his practice is a quiet trust in spontaneity, sincerity, and the spaces where the senses can rest. Studying the patterns of astrology, he turns to the written and spoken word as a way of tracing rhythm, deepening reflection, and opening conversation. Books remain the thread that binds it all—places where form and feeling meet, and where personal expression becomes a shared ground for healing.

Every design is a moment of stillness pulled from motion — a quiet shape in the chaos. What I do is not just design, but a kind of listening. To nature. To space. To people. To the unseen harmony that wants to emerge. These works are traces of that practice — one that is deeply lived, gently refined, and forever unfolding.
