Joshua David Hester is a UK-based writer, visual artist, and publishing practitioner. His work moves through poetry, performance, and handcrafted editions, exploring the book as both vessel and voice.
At the heart of his practice is a quiet trust in spontaneity, sincerity, and the spaces where the senses can rest. Studying the patterns of astrology, he turns to the written and spoken word as a way of tracing rhythm, deepening reflection, and opening conversation. Books remain the thread that binds it all—places where form and feeling meet, and where personal expression becomes a shared ground for healing.
Every design is a moment of stillness pulled from motion — a quiet shape in the chaos. What I do is not just design, but a kind of listening. To nature. To space. To people. To the unseen harmony that wants to emerge. These works are traces of that practice — one that is deeply lived, gently refined, and forever unfolding.
